Global Ties KC invites all high school, college, or young professionals to apply for a $1,000 scholarship to further studies in an international field, partake in a study abroad opportunity, or to fund student research or service with international travel. Global Ties KC is invested in the betterment of student experiences and promoting global mindsets in the next generation. All people deserve the opportunity to connect with the world.

Eligibility: The contest is open to any student interested in international education, volunteering, or study abroad.
This scholarship is awarded to students who are pursuing opportunities related to international affairs and/ or public/ community service. Scholarship funds can be used, but are not limited to the following purposes: Continued studies in an international field, study abroad opportunities, student research or service and international travel related to education and humanitarian aid.
