The untapped potential of women is a lost opportunity for economic growth and development. This multi-regional project supports the strategic goal of enhancing economic development. This project will illustrate the impact of women-owned businesses on the U.S. economy and explore the progress of women in participating more fully in the global economy.
The participants will explore private companies, business incubators, financial institutions, schools and mentorship institutions. Participants will discuss the social, economic and political factors that influence and encourage women as entrepreneurs and owners or managers of small, medium and large business decisions.
