Cultural Connection Hour Featuring Global ESL Educators

Join Global Ties KC on Thursday, March 14th to connect with global educators exploring the value of trauma-informed care practices in classrooms, specifically language classrooms.

The program, overseen by Regional English Language Officers abroad at various Embassies and Program Officers in Washington, foster mutual understanding, strengthen teaching and language skills, and develop critical thinking capabilities. For their subtheme of TIC, they are preparing to address the emotional needs of the students to enhance education instruction and outcomes.

This event will be an opportunity to learn about their time in Kansas City, and hear about how their work is having an impact in their home communities.
